IES academy, Jia Sarai, New delhi is the most pathetic institute that i have ever joined, their is nothing about them that can be applauded. They trap people with their fake student photo pamphlets and success graphs, they make you pay a large amount just for registration and issuing I card, because they know people will want a refund once they see the poor conditions of their classrooms and inferior faculty. So this is their only chance to take maximum amount of money from the students.
So if you have deposited full fees before taking any classes, you will be trapped as their are no refund policies unlike other institutes like Made Easy who have a refund policy. When I deposited half of my fee for the TSP IES course they issued me an I card, which has to be shown before entering the classroom; but they didn't told me that classes are held in the basement located in a congested gully behind the office. Earlier I thought that they were held on the first floor above the office, somehow I found that small basement with no windows and seepage in the walls.
My first impression was how can anyone study in such a place, i was feeling very cheated and thoughts of getting a refund and leaving this deplorable institute were lingering in my mind. But still I waited to attend the lecture and make my mind afterwards, so this teacher came who some students were saying was an ex-IES. What he did was the most common practice of teaching in India called "ROTE LEARNING", he opened the IES academy institute book and started hurling questions of previous years gate/psu/ese etc. at the students, with absolutely no theoretical explanation of any topic. His only objective was to complete the syllabus from those little IES academy books AKA study material and get paid by the hour. So the bottom line is this IES academy, jia sarai is fake and managed by crooks who want to grab your money. It's just a business for these guys and they don't care about the students.
